Role Description
The OJT (On-the-Job Trainee) will support daily bakery operations, including assisting in preparing, baking, and packaging breads, cakes, and other products according to OMBC’s recipes and standards. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, organizing ingredients and supplies, and following safety and quality protocols throughout each shift. The trainee will learn and apply traditional baking methods, support inventory checks,



and help with basic customer service tasks when required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, offering hands-on training and exposure to artisanal bakery practices.

Qualifications
- Interest in baking and pastry arts, with a willingness to learn traditional methods and follow detailed recipes.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices, or readiness to be trained in these areas.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions carefully, and commitment to consistent product quality.
- Good time management, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle routine lifting and movement of baking materials.
- Effective communication skills and a positive, qualified attitude when interacting with colleagues and customers.
