We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales & Use Tax Analyst (1-3 years experience) to support indirect tax compliance, registrations, and filings for finance operations. The role involves managing multi-state tax obligations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting process standardization during transition and steady state phases.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Sales & Use Tax compliance across multiple US jurisdictions
- Perform tax registrations, amendments, and deregistrations
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns
- Conduct reconciliations between source systems and filed returns
- Maintain tax rate tables and nexus tracking
- Support tax audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Identify and resolve tax discrepancies




- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and compliance controls
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities

Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales & Use Tax (US indirect tax)
- Understanding of multi-state tax regulations and nexus
- Experience with tax tools such as Avalara or Vertex (preferred)
- Knowledge of accounting and reconciliation processes
- Robust Excel skills (lookups, pivots)
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in shared services or F&A; outsourcing
- Exposure to US-based finance operations
- Experience with ERP systems (Peoplesoft, Oracle, Workday)
- Exposure to process transitions and SOP creation
