Job Description: Finance Manager (GST, Taxation, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis)

Position: Finance Manager

Role Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the organization's financial operations, including accounting, taxation, GST compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A;).

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings.

Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Monitor financial transactions and maintain solid internal controls.

2. GST & Taxation Compliance





Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).

Manage direct tax compliance, including TDS, advance tax, income tax provisions, and tax audits.

3. Budgeting, Planning & Financial Analysis (FP&A;)

Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Prepare financial models and business projections.

Provide management with actionable insights on revenue, costs, profitability, and working capital.

4. Balance Sheet & P&L; Management

Ensure accuracy and integrity of Balance Sheet accounts through periodic reconciliations.

Monitor key P&L; drivers and profitability metrics.

Analyze business performance and recommend corrective actions to improve financial outcomes.

5. Audit & Compliance

Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and financial governance standards
