The Stock Auditor is responsible for conducting physical stock audits, verifying inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical stock audits at stores/warehouses as per schedule
- Verify stock against system records (SOH) and identify mismatches
- Ensure accurate scanning and counting of inventory items
- Prepare and submit detailed audit reports with variance analysis
- Investigate discrepancies such as shortages, excess stock, and damaged goods
- Coordinate with store/warehouse teams during audits
- Ensure adherence to audit processes and SOPs
- Highlight operational gaps and suggest corrective actions
- Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and evidence (photos, reports, etc.)
- Support re-audits and special audit assignments as required
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and audit processes /excel
- Familiarity with barcode scanning and stock audit tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reporting tools)
- Ability to work in field and travel as required
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in stock audit / inventory / retail audit (preferred)
