Key Roles & Responsibilities

1) Plan and execute fabrication of stainless steel components for drying systems as per engineering drawings.

2) Supervise sheet metal cutting, bending, TIG/MIG welding, and polishing operations.

3) Ensure stainless steel fabrication meets required thickness, tolerances, and surface finish standards.

4) Monitor fabrication of drying system components such as ducts, chambers, and piping.

5) Coordinate with design and quality teams for fabrication feasibility and drawing clarifications.

6) Conduct in-process inspections to ensure welding quality and dimensional accuracy.

7) Oversee assembly and integration of fabricated parts into complete drying system units.

8) Ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards for stainless steel fabrication and pressure parts (if applicable).

9) Optimize material usage to reduce wastage in stainless steel sheets and pipes.

10) Prepare and maintain fabrication records, inspection reports, and assembly documentation.

Expectation From this Post

1)



Practical Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication processes (cutting, bending, TIG/MIG welding, polishing) in industrial equipment manufacturing.

2) Hands-on Experience in fabrication and assembly of drying systems or similar process equipment.

3) Understanding of Engineering Drawings with the ability to interpret fabrication and assembly details accurately.

4) Familiarity with Material Grades of stainless steel (SS304, SS316, etc.) and their applications in process equipment.

5) Knowledge of Standards & Safety related to stainless steel fabrication (ISO, ASME, or equivalent).

6) Ability to Supervise Shop-floor Activities including manpower allocation, production tracking, and quality checks.

7) Problem-Solving Skills for addressing fabrication defects, dimensional deviations, and assembly challenges.

8) Coordination Skills to work with design, quality, and installation teams for successful project execution.
