QA Shift In-Charge (Dairy UHT)

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that all quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies are strictly adhered to during the production shift, with a specific focus on the Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) dairy processing line. The role involves supervising QA activities, monitoring critical quality parameters, and ensuring product safety and integrity from raw material to finished product.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Quality Assurance team during the assigned shift.
- Monitor and control critical process parameters for the UHT dairy line, including temperature, time, pressure, flow rate, and aseptic conditions.
- Conduct regular in-process and finished product quality checks, including microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses, to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, and other relevant food safety standards (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).




- Perform line audits to identify potential quality risks and ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are maintained.
- Investigate quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, documenting findings and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate and complete quality control records, reports, and documentation for traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and release of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Train and mentor QA team members on quality procedures, testing methods, and safety protocols.
