Key Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical designs from concept creation to final design release.
- Work on mechanical control systems and integrate them into product designs.
- Perform 3D modelling, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), FEA (Finite Element
Analysis), simulations using SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools.
- Define and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the design
process.
- Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and select appropriate standard
parts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and
manufacturability.
- Work with 3D printing,
tooling, machining processes, and prototyping to develop
and test designs.
- Perform reverse engineering and 3D scanning using tools such as Geomagic
DesignX.
Requirement:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
