About the Role:

We are looking for a Social Media Executive – Entertainment & Pop Culture to lead the growth, strategy, and execution of our entertainment-focused social media properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong pulse on Bollywood, Hollywood, OTT platforms, celebrity culture, internet trends, and viral content, along with proven experience managing teams and scaling digital audiences.

Platform Strategy & Growth:
- Lead the overall social media strategy across Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn.
- Identify content trends, and distribution opportunities that drive reach, engagement, & growth.
- Analyze performance data and optimize posting strategies, timing, and formats.
- Collaborate with editorial, video, and design teams to deliver platform-first storytelling.
- Develop long-term growth strategies for entertainment communities.

Content Performance & Monetization:
- Increase organic reach, engagement,



and community growth.
- Identify opportunities for branded integrations, platform partnerships, and content monetization.
- Ensure social content supports editorial impact and business objectives.
- Experiment with current platform features and content formats.

Entertainment Content Leadership:
- Track Bollywood, Hollywood, OTT releases, celebrity news, award shows, and internet culture.
- Convert trends into high-performing content opportunities.
- Plan editorial calendars around entertainment events and launches.
- Provide creative briefs to writers, designers, and editors.
- Develop new social-first content IPs.

Team Coordination & Leadership:
- Oversee daily publishing workflows and ensure consistent quality.
- Lead and mentor the social media team.
- Coordinate across content, design, video, and community teams.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
