Role Description
The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations for the chapter, ensuring accurate tracking of funds, expenses, and reimbursements. Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, preparing financial reports, recording transactions, and supporting budget planning for events and activities. The role also involves coordinating with event organizers and leadership to handle payments, sponsorship funds,



and financial documentation in compliance with institutional guidelines. This is a full time, on-site role based in Aligarh, requiring regular presence for meetings, events, and coordination with chapter members.

Qualifications
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) for tracking budgets and expenses.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with event teams, sponsors, and chapter leadership.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines during busy event periods.
- Familiarity with budgeting for student or non-commercial organizations is an advantage.
