Job Description Mechanical Technician (Utilities & Maintenance)

Position: Mechanical Technician
Department: Maintenance / Utilities
Location: Generator Manufacturing Unit

Qualification
- ITI (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Any relevant Mechanical Diploma

Experience Required
- Experience in maintenance and operation of mechanical utility systems.
- Basic to medium level knowledge of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operations and maintenance.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment and utility systems.
- Preferred industry background: Textile, Foundry, Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Utilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility systems including STP, WTP, and ETP.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Monitor pumps, motors, pipelines, compressors, and associated utility equipment.




- Coordinate with electrical maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and utility consumption reports.
- Support production teams by ensuring uninterrupted utility availability.
