Role & responsibilities
- Support statutory and internal audits by providing requisite explanations and assistance to auditors, ensuring timely resolution and completion without qualifications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor corrective actions.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
- Review trial balance before each monthend and ensure timely completion of closing activities.
- Regularly review balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Provide periodic updates on regulatory changes to senior management.
- Support SAP processes and assist business teams with certificate requirements.
- Ensure compliance in relation to issue of shares,
including obtaining valuation reports.
Preferred candidate profile
- Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years experience in an audit firm.
- Proven experience in handling audits and complex accounting transactions.
- Sound knowledge of IND AS.
- Work experience on accounting software like SAP is an added advantage. Well versed with MS Excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
