Primary Purpose of Job:

Stantec is a leader in global infrastructure, water resource development and works in the Buildings, Mining, power & dams and Oil and Gas sectors providing engineering design and remediation, program management and technology solutions for the markets of North Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

Stantec is looking for Electrical Engineer to be based in the Pune, India office who can contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec Resource Net India Private Ltd by providing design expertise in specialist areas of electrical systems related to Industrial Water Sector (WTP/WWTP/Pumping stations etc.). To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects.

Support project managers/team leader by providing technical and drafting expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations.

Key Accountabilities:
- Day to day tasks include concept design to detail design development,



tender development and or construction level of Electrical design and assistance for the Project and multiDiscipline Engineers. Coordination with regional leads.
- Design experience in Water sectors (WTP/WWTP/Pumping stations etc.) for heavy (Power industry/ Process Industries/ Manufacturing) industrial and utility capital projects.
- The engineer will be responsible for development of electrical design as per the client needs and requirements.
- As an Electrical engineer, it should be expected that the engineer will be responsible for development of electrical calculations using different design tools and software, electrical equipment sizings and various electrical layouts etc.
- Experience in Power system modeling and analysis such as short circuit analysis, Arc Flash studies, electrical power system grounding studies etc. using ETAP software.
