Role Description
The Incharge Operation Theatre role is a full-time, on-site position based at Motherhood Hospital in Kolkata. The role is responsible for overseeing daily operation theatre activities, including scheduling surgeries,



coordinating with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and support teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical and safety protocols. The Incharge Operation Theatre monitors the readiness of OT equipment and supplies, supervises infection control practices, and ensures proper documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. This position also involves managing OT staff allocation, guiding team performance, and addressing operational issues to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. The role requires close collaboration with nursing administration and hospital management to optimize OT utilization and continuously improve processes.
