Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist with hands-on experience in manufacturing procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and components, vendor management, purchase negotiations, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, steel, castings, hardware, electrical components, motors, and other engineering materials.
- Identify, develop, and maintain reliable local and national suppliers.
- Negotiate price, MOQ, payment terms, credit period, delivery schedules, and freight costs.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with the Production, Engineering, Stores, Accounts,



and Admin teams for material requirements.
- Ensure materials are procured as per BOM, drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and support lean/JIT inventory management.
- Track supplier performance, lead times, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate incoming logistics, transportation, GRN, and material receipt.
- Verify vendor invoices against POs and GRNs in coordination with the Accounts team.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing and negotiation.
- Handle urgent/emergency material requirements to avoid production delays.

Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of procurement/purchase experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in sourcing engineering/industrial raw materials and components is preferred.
