Role Description




The Laser Tracker Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for delivering precision measurement and alignment services using laser tracker systems and related metrology tools. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing 3D measurement jobs, setting up and calibrating Leica Laser Trackers and other equipment, capturing and analyzing measurement data, and preparing clear, structured inspection reports for clients. The role involves collaborating with customer engineering and production teams to define measurement requirements, troubleshoot alignment issues, and recommend metrology-based solutions that enhance quality and efficiency. The Laser Tracker Engineer may support projects across multiple industries, coordinate remote support, and occasionally travel to customer sites as required. This position requires consistent documentation, adherence to safety and quality standards, and continuous learning of new metrology technologies and software.
