Core Duties & Responsibilities
Transport & Operations
- Safe Driving: Operate vehicles safely, strictly obeying local traffic laws and speed limits.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient routes using GPS maps to avoid heavy traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
- Passenger/Cargo Safety: Secure cargo properly before driving and ensure all passengers wear seatbelts.
Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection
- Daily Checks: Inspect fuel, oil, water levels, tyre pressure,
brakes, and lights before every trip.
- Cleanliness: Wash and vacuum the vehicle regularly to keep the interior and exterior spotless.
- Service Scheduling: Schedule routine maintenance visits, like oil changes or tyre rotations, and report mechanical issues immediately.
Administration & Compliance
- Documentation: Keep valid driving licenses, vehicle insurance, and pollution certificates updated in the vehicle.
- Log Maintenance: Record travel times, distances, fuel receipts, and delivery logs accurately.
- Emergency Response: Follow company guidelines during accidents or breakdowns, including reporting details to supervisors.
