About POLRIX

We work with architects, developers, MEP consultants, contractors and facility teams to make buildings more measurable, connected and energy-intelligent, from design and construction through commissioning and operations.

We are looking for a
BMS / Building Automation Engineer
who can help us bridge the gap between physical building systems and POLRIX's digital energy-intelligence platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands BMS, HVAC controls, electrical systems, sensors, automation, field devices and building communication protocols and wants to work on the next generation of intelligent buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical, HVAC, MEP and BMS drawings.
- Design and review BMS/energy-monitoring architecture.
- Work with sensors, energy meters, DDCs, HVAC systems and controllers.
- Handle BACnet, Modbus and other building communication protocols.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, electrical contractors and BMS vendors.
- Support site installation,



testing and commissioning.
- Integrate building systems and data with POLRIX.
- Identify energy-monitoring and automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot field devices, communication and integration issues.

Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or related engineering.
- 2–5 years experience
in BMS, BAS, HVAC controls or building automation.
- Good understanding of HVAC and electrical systems.
- Experience with
BACnet / Modbus
.
- Ability to read MEP, electrical and control drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.

Positive to have:
Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, DDC/PLC, IoT gateways, energy meters or solar/BESS experience.
