Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and monitoring to admitted patients.
- Conduct regular patient rounds and assess clinical condition.
- Attend to emergency situations and initiate appropriate management.
- Assist consultants during patient examination, procedures, and clinical rounds.
- Monitor vital signs, investigations, treatment response, and patient progress.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient case sheets and medical records.
- Ensure timely implementation of doctors' orders and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Identify and promptly report any deterioration in a patient's condition to the concerned consultant.
- Maintain proper documentation of patient care, treatment, and clinical observations.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control practices, patient-safety protocols, and NABH standards.
- Ensure effective communication with patients and their attendants regarding routine medical care.
- Perform duties as per the assigned duty roster and hospital requirements.

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Basic knowledge of oncology and cancer patient management will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
