Acts as a key financial advisor to executive management, shaping financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership of Project Accounting: Lead the project accounting function across multiple portfolios, ensuring all accounting entries, cost capitalization, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations comply with IFRS/GAAP and corporate policies.
Financial Governance & Ledger Oversight: Establish and enforce controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of project ledgers and financial statements.
Forecasting & Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development and management of project budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with corporate objectives.
Executive Reporting & Financial Analysis: Prepare, review, and present high-level financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with senior business leaders, project managers, procurement, treasury, and finance teams to align financial strategies and resolve complex financial issues.
Month-End & Year-End Close Oversight: Direct and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all month-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Lead audit preparation and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to SOX and other regulatory standards; respond proactively to audit findings.
