Job Summary

Reliance Retail is looking for experienced and result-oriented Store Managers for Smart Bazaar stores in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in grocery retail operations, sales growth, team management, inventory control and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations and performance of the store.
- Achieve store sales, profitability and operational targets.
- Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
- Manage store expenses, productivity and P&L; performance.
- Ensure product availability, proper assortment and effective replenishment.
- Monitor inventory, stock accuracy, ageing and near-expiry products.
- Control shrinkage, damages, wastage and operational losses.




- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Lead, motivate and manage the store team to achieve business targets.
- Plan manpower deployment, shift schedules and staff productivity.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, audit requirements and compliance standards.
- Maintain store hygiene, safety, visual merchandising and display standards.
- Coordinate with category, supply chain, HR and other support functions.
- Analyse store KPIs and implement corrective action wherever required.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate with 5–15 years of experience in retail operations.
- Must have experience managing a grocery, supermarket or hypermarket store.
- Robust knowledge of sales, inventory, shrinkage control and store profitability.
