Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
SQL Performance Tuning Specialist
to join our team and drive optimization across our SQL database environments. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in SQL database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with a passion for ensuring databases operate at peak efficiency. This role is critical to our business operations, as our systems rely heavily on high-performing, scalable, and reliable databases.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze SQL database performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement
2. Design and implement strategies to enhance database performance, scalability, and efficiency
3. Monitor database health and performance, proactively addressing potential issues
4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex SQL performance bottlenecks and database issues
5. Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and system administrators to optimize queries and system performance
6. Participate in database design and development to ensure performance optimization from inception
7. Conduct regular performance testing and provide actionable recommendations
8. Assist in capacity planning and ensure database scalability for future business growth
9. Implement and promote best practices, standards, and governance for database performance
