Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Pirangut, Pune

Experience: 2–5 Years

CTC: ₹4–6 LPA

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for product design, engineering drawings, BOM preparation, and supporting production and new product development activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed engineering, assembly, part, and manufacturing drawings.
- Create and modify designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar CAD software.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T.; - Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, PPC, and Project teams.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
- Review customer drawings and technical requirements.
- Make design modifications based on customer and production requirements. - Support New Product Development (NPD)



and prototype activities.
- Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
- Support quality improvement, cost reduction, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Design and Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in any relevant CAD software
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design/manufacturing.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in CAD and manufacturing drawings will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
