Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Develop production schedules using MS Project and monitor progress against milestones.
- Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), production timelines, resource plans, and production trackers.
- Track fabrication, machining, assembly, testing, and dispatch activities to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks.

2. Production Execution
- Coordinate day-to-day shop floor production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor manpower utilization and machine productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Design, Procurement, and Stores for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of manufacturing activities.

3. Resource Planning
- Plan manpower, machinery, tools, and equipment utilization.
- Review machine loading and production capacity.
- Identify production constraints and recommend corrective actions.




- Optimize utilization of available resources to improve efficiency.

4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Quality, Stores, Logistics, and Dispatch teams.
- Conduct periodic production review meetings.
- Follow up with vendors and subcontractors for timely material and service availability.
- Prepare daily production reports, dashboards, and management updates.

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production schedules and planning documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Update production status reports and project progress trackers.
- Ensure documentation complies with company procedures and quality requirements.

6. Risk Management

Identify risks such as:

· Material shortages

· Production delays

· Design changes

· Machine breakdowns

· Resource constraints
- Implement corrective actions to recover schedules and minimize delays.
