Jr. NPD Engineer

Location : Chinchwad, Pune | Type : Full-Time | Joiners : Immediate/ within 15 days

Salary : ₹25k – ₹30k / month

Education: Mechanical, Production, or Industrial (Degree/Diploma)

Exp: 3–4 Years

Key Responsibilities
- NPD & Launch: Support product development from initial concept to full production launch; manage project schedules.
- Engineering & Documentation:Create engineering drawings, BOMs, and manage change requests (ECR/ECO).
- Quality & Validation: Prepare APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and report on First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Design & Review: Conduct DFM/DFA and product design reviews; read GD&T; and technical drawings.
- Testing & Prototyping: Coordinate prototype builds, validation testing, and pilot production runs.
- Supplier & Cross-Team Sync: Work with design, production, procurement, and suppliers for material/component qualification.




- Continuous Improvement: Perform root cause analysis on design/process issues and drive value engineering / cost reduction.

Required & Preferred Skills
- CAD Software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
- Manufacturing Processes: Machining, sheet metal, fabrication, casting, injection molding, or assembly.
- Bonus Expertise: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/PLM systems, ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 QMS standards.
