1. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national environmental regulations related to sand mining operations.

2. Develop and implement environmental policies, management plans, and best practices for sustainable sand mining.

3. Conduct and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), risk assessments, and biodiversity studies.

4. Monitor and report on environmental performance, including air and water quality, dust, noise, and habitat disruption.

5. Liaise with regulatory bodies, local communities, and other stakeholders to ensure transparent and responsible operations.

6. Lead reclamation and rehabilitation initiatives for mined areas.

7. Maintain and update environmental management systems and documentation.

8. Provide training and awareness programs to staff and contractors regarding environmental responsibilities.

Respond to environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.

10. Stay updated with evolving environmental legislation and industry best practices.

Knowledge of relevant environmental laws (e.g., EIA Notification, CRZ regulations, Water/Air Acts); Experience in managing sustainability programs and environmental audits; Solid project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills; Regulatory compliance; Environmental auditing & reporting; Impact assessment & mitigation; Waste and water management; Conflict resolution and community engagement; can manage police , media , administration , politicians.

Education - Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field.
