Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and aesthetic appeal of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming workplace for all guests and staff, directly contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and the reputation of the establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, dusting furniture, and polishing surfaces.
- Replenish guest room amenities such as towels, toiletries, and complimentary items, ensuring all items are stocked to par levels.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling and free of streaks.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies,



hallways, elevators, restrooms, and common spaces to ensure they are consistently presentable and inviting.
- Handle and dispose of trash and recyclables properly, following all waste management guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed in guest rooms or public areas promptly to the supervisor.
- Manage and organize housekeeping carts with adequate supplies, ensuring all necessary tools and products are available for daily tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels as needed.
