The Odoo Technical & Functional Consultant is responsible for leading complete Odoo ERP implementations, combining functional knowledge, technical development skills, and robust expertise in financial processes. The role includes requirement gathering, solution design, module configuration, customization, financial mapping, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Business & Functional Analysis

1.Execute detailed business process analysis and

understand client workflows across departments.

BRDs, SRS, and GAP analysis documents.

6.Design optimized workflows, approval chains, and

automation.

Financial Functional Expertise

1)Configure and implement Odoo Accounting end-to-end:

a)Chart of Accounts (CoA)

b)Journal entries and ledger setup

c)Payables & Receivables

d)Bank reconciliation & cash management

e)Taxation (GST, TDS, VAT if needed)

f)Financial reporting (BS, P&L;, Cash Flow)

g)Multi-currency, multi-company setup





2)Work closely with finance teams to align Odoo

3)Ensure configuration accuracy during migrations from

legacy systems (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
