We’re hiring: Video editing instructor (Premiere Pro & After Effects)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Video Editing Instructor to train aspiring video editors through practical, industry-focused learning. This role involves teaching students, mentoring them on real client projects, and helping them build portfolios that lead to freelance opportunities and placements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct video editing classes using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Teach editing fundamentals, storytelling, pacing, transitions, audio editing, color correction, and export workflows
- Mentor students on real-time client projects
- Review student assignments and provide detailed feedback
- Help students build professional portfolios and showreels
- Stay updated with current editing trends, AI editing tools, and social media content formats
- Maintain student progress records and support placement preparation
- Collaborate with the institute team to improve curriculum and training quality
Required skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good understanding of YouTube, Instagram Reels, commercial, and corporate video editing
- Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, and basic color grading
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Ability to simplify complex editing concepts for beginners
- Robust project management and deadline-handling skills
Preferred qualifications
- 1+ years of professional video editing experience
- Experience working with agencies, production houses, digital marketing companies, or content creators
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or workshop experience is an advantage
