Role & responsibilities
- Product research: Maintain coverage on a universe of Public market instruments across Mutual Funds, PMSs and AIFs. Engage in peer benchmarking, product pipeline assessment, and qualitative fund due diligence. Monitor alpha across portfolios and fund mandates
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with bankers, wealth managers, AMCs, and product partners (AIFs, PMS providers, etc.) for smooth execution.
- Advisory Support: Assist RMs/Advisors in portfolio reviews, client presentations and capital allocations.
- Contribute to research processes and innovation in how products are screened and recommended

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- 1–2 years’ experience in investment research, wealth management, or mutual fund analytics
- Strong knowledge of Banking & Mutual Fund instruments; exposure to AIFs/PMS is a plus.
- Proven interest in capital markets (e.g., track record of investing, CFA L1+, finance projects)




- Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel, PPT, and data interpretation
- Highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities.
- Clear, concise communication style with attention to detail.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in structured and efficient processes.

- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a flat team structure
- Collaborative and open to feedback, with the ability to execute independently
- Ability to creatively apply technical skills to solve problems and ideate faster

Valuable to Have:
- Background in equity research, mutual fund research, or portfolio advisory
- Exposure to investment product evaluation (MFDs, PMS, AIFs)
- Experience supporting HNI advisory or product functions in a wealth firm
