Key Responsibilities
- Perform through-hole and SMD soldering on PCBs.
- Carry out PCB assembly, component replacement, rework, and desoldering.
- Inspect solder joints and assembled PCBs for quality and workmanship.
- Identify basic electronic components and follow circuit schematics and assembly drawings.
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled PCBs and products.
- Assist with mechanical product assembly, fitting, fastening, and related workshop activities.
- Use hand tools, soldering equipment, hot-air rework stations, and basic testing equipment.
- Maintain component inventory, stock records, BOMs, and material documentation.
- Assist with product inspection, packaging, and preparation of completed assemblies.
- Coordinate with engineers and other team members during assembly and testing.
- Maintain proper organization, cleanliness, and discipline in the work area.
Required Skills
- ITI qualification in Electronics, Electrician, Mechanical, or a related trade.
- Practical knowledge of electronics assembly and soldering.
- Experience with through-hole soldering and preferably SMD soldering.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly.
- Ability to read basic circuit diagrams or assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical fitting.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic assembly and technical issues.
- Willingness to learn recent tools, products, and processes.
