Job Description

We are looking for a
Senior Project Planner
capable of independently managing the planning, progress control and periodic reporting of large-scale multidisciplinary engineering projects.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager and Discipline Leaders, ensuring that project schedules, deliverables, resources, man-hours and costs are continuously monitored and correctly reported.

The Senior Project Planner will report
functionally to the Project Engineering Manager of the assigned project
, who will define project priorities, objectives and required recovery actions. From an organisational and hierarchical perspective, the position will report to the
General Manager India
.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project
Work Breakdown Structure and baseline schedule
.
- Prepare, structure and manage the detailed
Engineering Deliverable List
, including planned dates, discipline responsibilities, document status, review cycles and issue dates.




- Monitor the complete engineering workflow across all disciplines, including process, piping, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation.
- Collect and validate weekly progress information from Discipline Leaders.
- Perform regular follow-up of engineering progress, verifying the completion of planned activities and deliverables.
- Update the project schedule and analyse deviations against the approved baseline.
- Prepare and manage the detailed
four-week look-ahead schedule
, identifying priorities, interfaces, constraints and overdue activities.
- Prepare weekly progress reports, including deliverable status, planned versus actual progress, critical activities and required corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly project reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, progress forecasts and schedule analyses.
- Monitor planned and actual man-hours, resource allocation, productivity and Estimate to Complete.
