- 5 experience in Observability/SRE across multiple production services and teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Jaeger/Zipkin (implementation plus governance).
- Proven ability to design end-to-end monitoring across logs/metrics/traces, including alerting strategy and dashboard engineering.
- Strong distributed systems troubleshooting capability (latency, saturation, errors, traffic patterns) and performance optimisation mindset.
- Solid API knowledge: REST concepts, gateway/service-to-service patterns, and API performance monitoring (latency percentiles, error budgets, dependency analysis).
- Solid grasp of telemetry standards: metric naming/labels, structured logging, trace context propagation, sampling approaches and signal correlation.
