Job Summary

Safety Projects Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and responsible Sheet Laser Cutting Machine Operator to operate and monitor laser cutting machines for precision cutting of metal sheets.
The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, program loading, production monitoring, quality inspection, and basic machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

● Operate CNC/Fiber Laser Cutting machines for cutting metal sheets as per production requirements.

● Read and understand engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and job specifications.

● Load and unload metal sheets safely onto the machine.

● Set appropriate machine parameters such as laser power, cutting speed, gas pressure, and focal position.

● Load and execute CNC programs and verify cutting patterns before starting production.

● Check the first piece and ensure dimensions and quality meet specifications.





● Monitor machine performance and identify cutting defects or machine abnormalities.

● Perform routine cleaning, nozzle inspection, lubrication, and basic machine maintenance.

● Maintain production, material consumption, rejection, and machine downtime records.

● Ensure proper handling and storage of finished and semi-finished components.

● Follow all safety procedures and use the required PPE.

● Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.

● Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.

Required Qualifications & Skills

● ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related technical field preferred.

● 1–3 years of relevant experience in laser cutting machine operation.

● Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting processes.

● Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
