Role Description
The Shift Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Aluva,



responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and utilities during assigned shifts. The role involves monitoring plant processes, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and coordinating with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime. The Shift Engineer will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate shift logs and reports, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting compliance with regulatory, environmental, and company policies. The position requires close collaboration with production, quality, and safety teams to maintain consistent output and to contribute to process optimization.
