Principal is administrative and academic Head of College of Nursing directly reporting to CEO, HNH.

Principal is responsible to develop. & implement strategic plan in line with vision and mission of the institute, develop & innovate. institutional curricula, assess, evaluate & refine pedagogy, monitor student achievement, encourage involvement of stakeholders, revise policies and procedures, administer the budget, hire and evaluate staff along while ensuring campus safety and prescribed norms of statutory bodies and maintaining status of Suitability at all times.

General Job Responsibilities

Leadership
- Formulates vision, mission and philosophy of college and academic programs.
- Develops strategic plan for college.
- Responsible for academic excellence & growth of college.
- Addition, planning & implementation of academic programs based on emerging societal needs.
- Observance of Act, statues, ordinances, regulations, rules and other orders issued under, by the University from time to time.




- Serves and gives directions as a Chairperson in various advisory Committees.
- Leads and organizes functions of importance.
- Interprets Nursing education to other health related discipline & to the public.

Academic Programs
- Creates climate hospitable for achievement of intended learning outcomes specific to academic program.
- Initiates external & internal correspondence with various statutory bodies, affiliated organizations and other stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and evaluate instructional & assessment strategies specific to academic programs.
- Develops action plan for enhancing achievement of program outcomes, course outcomes and intended graduates attributes.
- Participates in the teaching work, research and training programs of the college.
- Supervision of College / University examination, setting of question paper for the College / University examination, moderation, assessment of answer papers and such other works pe
