Help build the commercial function of an emerging enterprise AI startup. About Controvia AI Controvia AI is an early-stage enterprise software startup helping large organisations automatically audit 100% of employee expense claims using AI. Our platform identifies fraud, policy violations and financial leakages while dramatically reducing the effort involved in manual audits. We have successfully deployed our solution with our first enterprise customer and have several large enterprises currently evaluating the platform. We’re now looking for our first commercial hire to help scale adoption across India. Our customers are typically large enterprises across manufacturing, retail, financial services and other field-force-intensive industries, where employee expenses represent a significant operational cost. We primarily work with CFOs, Financial Controllers and Internal Audit teams. The Role This is not a traditional sales role. You will represent Controvia AI in the Indian market, build relationships with senior finance leaders, identify qualified opportunities,



arrange meetings, conduct discovery conversations and introduce prospects to the founder for product demonstrations and commercial discussions. You will be the face of Controvia AI on the ground in India. Responsibilities 1. Business Development Identify target organisations across key industries. Build relationships with CFOs, Financial Controllers and Internal Audit leaders. Generate qualified opportunities through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, cold outreach and your existing qualified network. Develop your own pipeline and consistently arrange meetings with qualified prospects. 2. Customer Meetings Arrange and attend in-person customer meetings across your region. Conduct initial discovery meetings to understand the customer’s current expense management process, audit challenges and business priorities.
