Role Description The Reporter will work full time on-site at Jai Hind College in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, covering campus events, academic initiatives, student activities, and community engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering information, interviewing stakeholders, verifying facts, and producing timely news stories for college publications and digital platforms. The role involves writing explicit, accurate, and engaging reports, coordinating with editors and media teams, and contributing to multimedia content such as photos, videos, or social media posts. The Reporter will maintain ethical reporting standards, meet deadlines, and support the college’s communication and outreach efforts.
Qualifications
Strong reporting skills, including information gathering, interviewing, and fact-checking.




Excellent written communication and news writing abilities, with attention to clarity and accuracy.
Competence in multimedia content creation, such as basic photography, videography, or audio recording.
Ability to work collaboratively with editorial teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Interest in campus life, education, and community issues; prior experience in student media or journalism is an advantage.
Relevant coursework or training in journalism, mass media, communications, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and adherence to ethical reporting practices.
