Details
- Based in our CM partner factory (about 20 km south/west from Sriperumbudur) – transport to factory on their own
- Candidate is/will be local (lives in Chennai area and can daily commute to factory)
- Speak English and local language (Tamil)
- Has product quality/manufacturing experience in electronics industry
- Good understanding of SMT/PCA manufacturing, SPP/SPI, P&P;, AOI, ICT, SA, FBT
- Knowledge of process/product quality, IQC/IPQC/OQC and line/process audits (ISO, Agency, ESD, RM/FG handling, SOP, etc.)
- Strong quality tools knowledge/experience (RC/CAPA, 8D, Lean 6S,
Kaizen, etc.)
- Valuable understanding of current PC technology/architecture and HW/SW
- Knowledge of programming/scripting and data mining/analytics is an advantage
- Working Mon-Fri/Sat, business hours
- Ability to support during weekends and out of business hours
- Develops an understanding of the organization's inspection methods, quality guidelines, best practices, risk management practices, etc.
- Designs and integrates quality requirements, processes, and practices into the manufacturing of a product or solution
- Supports NPI (new product introduction/implementation) at factory
- Crafts test strategies using various test methodologies, builds test setups, automates test frameworks and tests plans
- Provides tangible feedback and proposes further changes to improve product quality and minimize risk of failures
