At dsm-firmenich being a force for good is not optional Diversity Equity Inclusion is a shared responsibility woven into our daily work to not only benefit our People Customers Communities but also drive business value Equal access to opportunities is a given belonging is a shared feeling authenticity is celebrated Your key responsibilities Collaborate with R D chemists and the local pilot plant team in process optimization intensification projects implementation of innovative catalytic steps as well as process scale up and transfers to production within the site and beyond Lead and manage process transfers projects to Pilot and production within the site and beyond Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners from chemical operations HSE partners and the innovation community especially organic and analytical chemists to maximize value generation Assess existing production processes propose and implement optimizations to improve yield and productivity Data analysis with powerful software tools Prepare conceptual designs for recent investment projects and provide support during the detail engineering as well as commissioning Preparation of mass balance energy balance and electronic batchsheets for production in plant Collaborate closely with the local process safety team to ensure safe process transfer and operation of chemical processes Participating in process safety reviews and HAZOP Provide troubleshooting support and technical advice to the production team as required Develop deep understanding of automation and process control systems used in production focusing on support during the assessment development and implementation of innovative tools for process monitoring and control Maintain a high level of awareness of the advancement of the technology related to the field of activity based on literature and patent Propose new processes and conduc
