We are looking for an NPD Quality Engineer Project Manager to manage end-to-end execution of Current Product Development NPD projects This role owns quality planning customer approvals and project timelines from drawing receipt to SOP The role is execution-heavy customer-facing and timeline-critical acting as a single point of accountability between customers suppliers and internal cross-functional teams during new product launches NPD Quality Planning Review customer drawings specifications and special characteristics Identify manufacturability and quality risks at early stages Prepare and validate PFMEA Control Plans and Inspection Plans Define and enforce quality gates for NPD milestones Project Management Timeline Control Create detailed NPD project plans with milestones and ownership Track progress against timelines and escalate deviations immediately Coordinate trials pilot runs and process validations Ensure all actions are closed before SOP release Customer Interface Approvals Act as single point of contact for NPD quality with customers Lead customer calls meetings and technical discussions Drive PPAP FAI and customer approval submissions Communicate risks delays and mitigation plans transparently Supplier Subcontractor Coordination Coordinate with suppliers for development parts tooling and special processes Ensure supplier readiness for plating anodizing powder coating welding etc Drive supplier PPAPs and corrective actions Internal Coordination Readiness Align Production Quality Purchase PPC and Tooling teams Ensure SOP release only after full quality and process readiness Prevent premature production release under commercial pressure Documentation Reporting Maintain complete NPD documentation with revision control Prepare project status reports risk trackers and customer updates Ensure audit-ready documentation at all times Authority Accountability Block NPD milestones if quality readiness is incomplete Propose realistic customer timelines and reject unsafe
