At Leidos we challenge you with engaging assignments that provide you with an opportunity to thrive professionally and personally For us helping you grow your career is good business Leidos is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineering Lead in Pune India for electric distribution design engineering We re looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring that every project no matter how simple or complex is of exceptional quality You ll be working directly with clients to make sure that Leidos reputation for high-quality work is always maintained If you join us in this role you ll gain expertise in a variety of areas including NESC Structural Pole Modeling Electrical Power Calculations GIS design training Field Data Collection and Client Design Standards Your greatest work is ahead As a Distribution Engineering Lead you can expect to Lead a team in the development of electrical distribution work packages Perform engineering design and analysis potentially work on capital reliability design i e reconductor voltage conversion DG FLISR underground etc designs Be responsible for QAQC tasks on your assigned team QAQC reviews of your team s designs prior to submittals Review engineering design packages for clients Review and organize existing program work Perform scope analysis of work assigned and maintain schedule adherence to advocate client priorities Provide engineering support during construction including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met Coordinate conflicting utilities and other field engineering design requirements Assist with work permit development easements vegetation management DOT and ROW applications Manage the scope schedule and budget of work assigned Perform scope analysis of work assigned and maintain schedule adherence to advocate client priorities Initiate continuous improvement to workflow processes that drive efficiency and quality in client design deliverables Work indepen
