About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Embedded Systems / Firmware Engineer
to join our
Humanoid Robotics R&D; team
. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded firmware and low-level software for advanced robotic systems.
The role involves close collaboration with
Electronics, Robotics, Controls, Mechanical, AI/ML, and Software teams
to develop reliable and high-performance embedded systems for humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain
embedded firmware
for humanoid robotic systems.
- Develop robust and productive firmware using
Embedded C/C++
.
- Work with
microcontrollers, processors, sensors, actuators, motor controllers, and embedded peripherals
.
- Develop firmware for
robot joints, actuators, motor control systems, sensor interfaces, and robotic subsystems
.
- Implement real-time embedded applications using
RTOS
.
- Develop and integrate communication interfaces such as
CAN/CAN-FD, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, Ethernet, and EtherCAT
.
- Interface and communicate with
BLDC/servo motors, encoders, IMUs, force/torque sensors, current sensors, position sensors, and other robotic sensors
.
- Develop and integrate
motor control and actuator control firmware
.
- Perform hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, and firmware validation.
- Analyze and resolve hardware-software integration issues.
- Optimize firmware for
real-time performance, memory utilization, CPU usage, power consumption, and system reliability
.
- Develop device drivers, peripheral interfaces, communication stacks, and low-level firmware modules.
- Work on
interrupts, timers, DMA, ADC, PWM, GPIO, watchdogs, and other MCU peripherals
.
- Implement error handling, diagnostics, fault detection, and safety mechanisms.
- Perform firmware testing, unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation.
- Use debugging tools such as
JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and debugg
