Role Description
The Admission Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The counselor will interact with prospective students and families, provide detailed information about programs, admission criteria, and timelines, and guide applicants through the inquiry, application, and enrollment process. Daily tasks include responding to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions, and following up with interested candidates. The role involves coordinating campus visits or information sessions, collaborating with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth admissions operations, and supporting outreach or promotional activities to increase awareness of the institution’s offerings. The counselor is expected to uphold a supportive, professional, and ethical approach in all interactions.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills,



with the ability to explain programs and processes clearly to diverse audiences.
- Customer service and sales skills to build rapport, understand prospective students’ needs, and support them in making informed enrollment decisions.
- Background or interest in education, with the ability to discuss academic pathways and career outcomes in a knowledgeable and student-focused manner.
- Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, or a similar student-facing role in education or a service-oriented sector is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, counseling, or management is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, and comfort working with admission management or CRM systems.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple inquiries simultaneously, and meet admission targets while maintaining high service standards.
