Purpose of the role

Owns paid media, organic digital and content writing across the group's properties and channels. This is the highest-leverage role for AI, combining performance marketing with the written word. Paid media moves into this role from IT, so the function sits inside marketing where it belongs.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and run paid media across search, social and marketplaces, for both B2C demand and B2B lead generation.
- Write and adapt content across the business units, working to the brand voice and the prompt library.
- Own organic and SEO performance across the group's web properties.
- Run the social content calendars in line with the per-language, culturally owned model the group has adopted, coordinating local adaptation rather than relying on one translated feed.
- Own marketplace content and conversion on the commerce platforms in use for the food and B2C lines.
- Report on spend, lead cost and quality, and content performance.

Experience and skills

- A genuine hybrid of performance marketing and copywriting,



not one with a token amount of the other.
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns and reading the numbers.
- Strong writing in English, with Marathi or Hindi a clear advantage given the farmer and trade audiences.
- A feel for agri-input, food or FMCG audiences.

AI and tools fluency

- Fluent in the AI content stack and the prompt library, using them to lift output volume and consistency.
- Understands that AI raises the floor and the pace, while the brief, the judgment and the final edit stay human.
