Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the chance to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Buildings Business to be based at Nelamangala, BANGALORE, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure high equipment availability.
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA) by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and automation systems, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance resources and spare parts inventory by identifying critical spares, coordinating procurement, controlling maintenance costs, and ensuring uninterrupted maintenance operations.
