The Role As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl you ll take on a critical role of monitoring controlling and maintaining cutting-edge systems across our expansive infrastructure setting You ll be the key to providing innovative solutions to both technical and business challenges - ensuring seamless operations that push the boundaries of what s possible
In this role you ll become a trusted advisor to our customers offering insights into best practices and resource utilization You ll be vital in maintaining our infrastructure through monitoring and validating events and or alerts executing preventative tasks and escalating potential outages or abnormal situations applying a proactive approach to challenges
As a Unified Systems Operator you ll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and specialists on projects and interact directly with customers to understand their needs - facilitating cohesive and successful partnerships Roles Responsibilities Provide batch job support Release agreed batch job per job sheet or adhoc request Monitoring batch job status including overrun msgw not started fail etc Reporting monitor the batch job status and report to support team per instruction and raise ticket Recover issue job per operation manual or instruction from pc app team including job rerun force completed on-hold off-hold release etc Provide system monitoring support Monitor console and email to detect alert event and do regular health check Follow operation manual to determine whether next action required Follow procedure to call engineer for immediate action open incident ticket assign to concerned team send email Infor
