About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Markets Operations team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day settlement of FX Money Market (FXMM), OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Money Market transactions. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, brokers, and counterparties to ensure trades are processed accurately and settled on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Process daily settlement payments and ensure all payments are completed on time.
- Create and manage manual payment instructions using SWIFT messages (MT103, MT202, MTMX).
- Process and approve corporate and interbank trades.
- Handle cash settlements with domestic and international clients.
- Manage funding for settlement of trades.
- Perform end-of-day (EOD) reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve settlement issues and payment exceptions.
- Ensure all trades are instructed, matched, and settled within deadlines.
- Monitor failed trades, identify reasons for settlement failures,



and work to reduce them.
- Coordinate with clients, brokers, counterparties, and internal teams for smooth trade settlement.
- Follow internal policies, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Operations, including at least 2 years in FXMM and OTC Derivatives operations.
- Good understanding of Fixed Income, Repo, Securities Lending, FXMM, and OTC Derivatives products.
- Hands-on experience with settlement systems and SWIFT messaging (MT103, MT202, MTMX).
- Familiarity with settlement platforms such as AT2 is preferred.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risk management.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of tasks.
