Role: US Mortgage Underwriter

- Experience: 2+ years of current experience underwriting Non-QM mortgage loans, specifically DSCR products
- Profound knowledge of Non-QM loan programs and alternative documentation requirements.
- Ability to perform complex income and risk analyses, including DSCR calculations.
- Strong understanding of secondary market requirements and investor guidelines.
- Proficiency with automated underwriting systems (DU, LP) and electronic document management systems.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Review loan applications & financial docs
- Analyze credit, income, tax returns & DTI ratios
- Prepare underwriting summaries & recommend structures
- Communicate decisions clearly to stakeholders
- Reconcile accounts & prepare daily aging reports
