Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Talent Management, HR Services

Job Mission

The Manager / Senior Manager – Talent Management will be responsible for designing, driving, and governing key talent frameworks across the organization. This role focuses on end-to-end execution of Learning & Development (L&D;), Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and Performance Management Systems (PMS).

The ideal candidate will partner with business leadership to identify high-potential talent, address critical capability gaps, build future-ready leadership pipelines, and foster a continuous learning and high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Management System (PMS)

- Goal Setting & Alignment: Lead the annual and mid-year performance review cycles, ensuring KPIs are cascaded effectively across departments.
- Process Governance: Oversee performance evaluation frameworks, normalization/calibration sessions, and performance ratings distribution.
- Continuous Feedback Culture: Drive institutionalization of regular check-ins, feedback mechanisms, and performance coaching.
- PIP Management: Support business units in managing low performers through structured Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

2. Talent Review & Succession Planning

- Talent Assessments: Design and execute talent review frameworks (e.g., 9-Box Grid, potential vs. performance matrices) to map talent pools across critical roles.
- Succession Pipeline: Identify critical roles across business units, map succession depth, and build robust successor readiness charts (Ready Now, Ready in 1–2 Years, etc.).
- Individual Development Plans (IDPs):



Partner with business managers to create tailored IDPs for High Potentials (HiPos) and identified successors.

3. Learning & Development (L&D;)

- Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Conduct functional and managerial skill gap analyses aligned with business objectives.
- Leadership & Functional Programs: Conceptualize, curate, and deliver leadership development programs, capability-building workshops, and functional learning tracks.
- Vendor & Platform Management: Partner with external training providers, assessment vendors, and manage internal SF Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Efficacy Measurement: Define metrics to measure the return on investment (ROI) and overall business impact of learning interventions.

4. Career Architecture & Employee Engagement

- Career Pathing: Define clear competency frameworks and career progression pathways for various job families.
- Retention Strategies: Formulate targeted engagement and retention programs for HiPos and critical position holders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- PMS Completion & Coverage: 100% execution of appraisal cycles within agreed timelines.
- Succession Readiness: % coverage of critical roles with "Ready Now" and "Ready in 1–2 Years" successors.
- HiPo Retention Rate: Retention percentage among top talent and identified high-potential cohorts.




- Learning Coverage & Effectiveness: Average training hours per employee and feedback score/learning transfer efficacy (>85%).
- IDP Implementation: % completion of agreed development actions for identified successors and HiPos.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

- Full time Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management (MBA / PGDM) from a recognized institute.

Work Experience

- Minimum 8 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Talent Management, Performance Management, L&D;, and Succession Planning in corporate environments.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep operational understanding of 9-Box matrices, competency mapping, performance calibration, and adult learning principles.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence, present to, and collaborate with senior business leaders and department heads.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in analyzing HR metrics, workforce data, and talent trends to drive data-led decisions.
- Communication & Facilitation: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; experienced in facilitating internal workshops and talent discussions.
- Vendor Negotiation: Expertise in evaluating and managing external HR assessment and training partners.
