Role Overview:
The Store Manager (Jewellery) is responsible for overseeing all store operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing a high-value product setting with strong focus on security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end daily operations of the jewellery showroom
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and improve store profitability
- Deliver premium customer service and ensure a luxury shopping experience
- Handle high-value customer interactions, billing, and closing sales
- Supervise gold, diamond, and precious stone inventory with strict accuracy
- Ensure proper stock display, visual merchandising, and showroom presentation
- Lead, train, and motivate sales executives and support staff
- Monitor cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction security
- Maintain showroom security procedures and compliance standards
- Coordinate with head office for stock, marketing, and reporting
- Handle customer complaints, repairs,
exchanges, and after-sales service
- Ensure adherence to audit processes and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
- 6 to 15 years of experience in retail, preferably jewellery or luxury retail
- Strong sales and customer handling experience in high-value products
- Good knowledge of gold, diamond, and jewellery product categories
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High integrity and attention to detail (critical for jewellery retail)
- Ability to work in a target-driven and premium retail environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with jewellery billing/POS systems
- Knowledge of hallmarking and basic gold/diamond grading
- Strong customer relationship management
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
